How do I add a bottle to my collection?

Tap the "+" button on the main screen. You can either scan a wine label using your camera for automatic entry, or manually enter the details. Fill in the wine name, producer, vintage, and any other information you'd like to track.

How does the label scanner work?

The AI-powered label scanner uses Apple's Vision framework to analyze wine label photos. Point your camera at a wine label and the app will automatically extract the producer, wine name, vintage, and region. All processing happens on your device for privacy.

How does barcode scanning work?

Point your camera at a bottle's UPC barcode and Cellar will look it up in the Open Food Facts database. If found, the product details are automatically filled in. This is great for wines and spirits with scannable barcodes.

How do I look up prices for my wines?

Open any bottle's detail page and scroll to the Price Lookup section. Tap on Vivino, Wine-Searcher, Wine.com, or CellarTracker to search for your wine on these sites. The app pre-fills the search with your bottle's details.

What is a drinking window?

A drinking window is the optimal period to enjoy a wine. Cellar helps you track when your wines are "ready to drink," "at peak," or "past peak" based on the drink-by dates you set for each bottle. You'll get notifications when wines approach their optimal drinking time.

How do food pairings work?

Cellar suggests food pairings based on the type of wine, grape variety, and region. View pairing suggestions on any bottle's detail page to find perfect matches for your meals.

Can I sync my collection across devices?

Yes! With Cellar Premium, your collection syncs automatically across all your Apple devices using iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices and have iCloud enabled.

How do I export my collection?

Go to Settings > Export. Premium subscribers can export their collection as a professional PDF (perfect for insurance documentation) or CSV file for spreadsheet analysis.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. Your collection data is stored securely on your device using Apple's encryption. If you use iCloud sync, your data is protected by Apple's industry-leading security measures. I never have access to your personal data.

Can I use Siri with Cellar?

Yes! Cellar supports Siri Shortcuts. Ask Siri about your collection stats, favorite bottles, or total collection value. You can also create custom shortcuts in the Shortcuts app for automation.

Is Cellar available in my language?

Cellar is available in English, French, Spanish, and German. The app automatically uses your device's language setting. More languages are coming in future updates.

What are the subscription options?

Choose the plan that works for you: Monthly ($4.99/month), Yearly ($29.99/year - save 50%), or Lifetime ($49.99 one-time purchase for permanent access).

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Cellar. Your Premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Apple will review your request according to their refund policy.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase on a new device, go to Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
